Did you know that there are over 7,000 languages in the world today? Of those 7,000, over 1,800 language communities – over 200 million people – do not have a single verse of Scripture in a language they can understand. They do not have access to Jesus, are lost without hope, and their Bibles are blank. The ability to study God’s Word is not as accessible around the world as here in the United States.
Here at Calvary, one of our core values is elevating the Word of God. We want to elevate God’s Word here in our church and around the world.
We are launching the “Their Bibles Are Blank” campaign to participate in Great Commission opportunity to put the Bible in the hands of people who do not have the Word of God.
We will partner with the Seed Company and Wycliffe Bible Translators to provide the book of Mark to a people group in Kenya. By God’s grace they will have a complete New Testament in their heart language.
For $35 per verse, your gift will help move us toward the goal of seeing Mark translated into their language.
