Calvary Baptist Church Announces Groundbreaking for Expansion of GreenHouse Memory Care
COLUMBUS, GA (November 11, 2019) . . . Calvary Baptist Church and its ministry – GreenHouse Memory Care Community announced today that they will be holding a Ground Breaking event for their expansion of one of its senior living communities dedicated to meeting the needs of those with dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease in Columbus at the campus on Old Moon Road on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at 1:00 pm. The project will be managed and developed by J. Douglas Martin Construction and Design.
“We are very proud to announce the groundbreaking event at the GreenHouse. Soon we will be completing our slab and a hopeful opening by Spring 2020,” stated Rev. Ricky Smith the Lead Pastor and the Chairman of the non-profit community. The personal care community will expand to 17 beds and many options to care for almost any memory care resident from private studios to a large studio, to a semi-private affordable studio. These will all be deluxe Memory Care apartments.
“We believe this expansion and renovation will allow us to meet a greater need in the Chattahoochee Valley,” stated Debbie King, Executive Director of the GreenHouse at Calvary. Quality and affordable expansion from a faith-based perspective in this region is critical to our ministry. We hope that this expansion and renovation will set a standard for the area.”
