Calvary Calls Ricky Smith as Next Lead Pastor

On Sunday, June 23, 2019, Calvary voted to call Ricky Smith as their next Lead Pastor.

Ricky Smith is not a stranger to Calvary. He joined the school staff in 1996 and joined the church staff as the Student Pastor in 2007. Over the years, he has served Calvary as an Associate Pastor, Interim Worship Pastor, and even Headmaster of Calvary Christian School.  He has been serving as a State Missionary for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board since 2016.

Ricky will finish his commitment with Georgia Baptist Mission Board through the summer camp season, which is completed on July 19. He will be in the office full time beginning July 22.

Please continue praying for our church, the elders, and the pastors, as Ricky prepares to lead Calvary to make disciples. We believe that Ricky’s leadership, passion for this community, and experience will help Calvary REACH men and women with the Gospel, to BUILD them in their faith, and to SEND them into the Chattahoochee Valley to make disciples.
