CALVARY KIDS
At Calvary we offer you a safe, loving environment. Your child will be with one of our trained, screened, and loving volunteers who will work together with you to help make a difference with your child. We are honored that you are considering us. We are here to partner with you to help your child discover and nurture a growing relationship with our King, Jesus Christ.
I’m New
Staff & Teachers
Our staff of trained, competent and caring volunteers have all undergone a background check and completed Ministry Safe Training. In addition, they are screened by one of the Pastors or staff members of the church. We believe your child deserves the best, and we do our part to ensure they have a safe, exciting experience while here.
Check In & Out
We require all kids 5th grade and under to be checked in for services by parents using our Check-In Station located in Hightower Hall. Parents will get a claim sticker that matches their child’s sticker. They must show their sticker with a matching code to the volunteer in order to pick up their child. A child may not be picked up by anyone under the age of 16 years old. Please make us aware of any allergies or special needs. Your cell phone number will be attached to your child’s name tag. Please place your phone on vibrate and keep it available in the event of an emergency.
Learning
Your child will be engaged in active learning of the Scriptures while here today! We will spend time worshiping Jesus through singing and dancing. We will open up the Bible each week and read straight from God’s Word. We want our kids to have a love for God’s Word and to know the Truth. Our lessons will challenge our kids to Spend Time with God, Spend Time with Others, Use Their Gifts and Share Their Story.
Nursery
As babies play and explore throughout their day, they develop an understanding of their world. Our goal is to create a safe environment, which is supportive of every child’s individual needs. Each class provides age appropriate developmental and educational material designed to stimulate the natural curiosity in children.
Our teachers treasure and love the babies in our care and have extensive training to make sure your baby is safe, enjoys a healthy environment and is taught that God loves them. We hope you choose to allow your baby to visit with us while you are at our church.
We are a Well-Baby nursery. We ask that all children be fever-free for 24 hours WITHOUT the aid of fever reducing medicines. Also, please keep them home if they have vomited, had diarrhea in the last 24 hours or if they have any of the following: pink-eye, unexplained rash, cloudy or runny nose, or any communicable disease. We seek your support in this.
