I. You Will Reap What You Sow
Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
A. Warning Against Self-Deception
B. What We Put In Will Come Out
The hypocrite is a fool who imagines that he can sow to the flesh and yet reap life everlasting.
II. You Can Sow to Yourself or to the Spirit
Galatians 6:8
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
A. Sowing to the Flesh Leads to Corruption
B. Sowing to the Spirit Leads to Eternal Life
A Life Devoted to the Things of God Will Always Be Greater than a Life Devoted to Self.
III. Sow to the Spirit by Persevering in Doing Good to All.
Galatians 6:9-10
And let us not grow weary for doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith
The Difficulty We Will Endure by Persevering in Doing Good is Completely Overshadowed by the Eternal Reward we will Reap.
