1. One Gospel:
1 Corinthians 2:2
For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.
2. One Assembly
Matthew 16:18
I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.
3. One Mind
Acts 5:11
And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things.
4. One Leader
Acts 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Discussion Questions:
- What is the difference between the Greek words “ecclesia” and “ekklesia”?
- By what “means” does God use to accomplish His “ends”?
- How are you being used by God to help build the Church of Christ?
- Have you given your life to Christ? Have you been baptized (an outward expression of an inward change) since you gave your life to Christ?
- At school, work, family, etc is your faith a private matter that you don’t usually share with others? Have you recorded your “Calvary Share” testimony and uploaded it to Calvary’s Facebook page? If you haven’t, why not?
- Pray that we will be used by God to help build His Church, that we will preach the Word with all boldness, and we will not be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.
