Get Connected

Although faith in Jesus is a personal decision that cannot be forced on someone else, following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. No one should follow Jesus in isolation from other believers. Therefore, we pray that all regular attendees at Calvary Baptist Church are in community with one another. Our church strives for Jesus’ followers to invest in the lives of others so that they can make more followers of Jesus.

Doing life together

Doing life together is our approach to LifeGroups. We have dozens of LifeGroups that meet at different times on our campus. Many meet on Sunday Morning at 9:45 for Bible study, some of those groups meet on Wednesday night for adult studies, and others meet throughout the week all over the Chattahoochee Valley.

We don’t limit our discipleship process to LifeGroup classrooms. We want people to get comfortable enough with each other to live life together (raising families together and hanging out with each other.) The purpose of LifeGroups is for people to learn what following Jesus looks like from one another until they also can help others follow Jesus.

Learning From Each Other

We believe that it is equally important for our church to grow smaller at the same time that we grow larger. As a result, we want our life groups to continue to grow at the same rate that our large group, church services continue to grow.

We believe that in LifeGroups a person is not just part of the crowd but involved with each other’s lives. In LifeGroups you have the chance to ask deep questions about the Bible, faith and how following Jesus looks. LifeGroups care for each other in ways that the large group could never care for each other. Therefore, we often say at Calvary that if you only had one hour to give to our church each week, we would rather see you in a LifeGroup than in our large group, church setting.
