I. The Call to Unity is Non-Negotiable

Philippians 2:1-2
So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

II. The Road to Unity is Not Possible without Humility

Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

There is a Non-Negotiable Call to Unity in Christ that Calls for Our Humility.

How can we grow in humility and avoid the cancer of pride?
1. Grow in humility by reflecting on the cross of Christ
2. Grow in humility by reflecting on God’s Word
3. Grow in humility by praying for others
4. Grow in humility through missional community

Next Steps

• I confess my sin and turn to Jesus as King for the first time.
• I commit to engage in daily Bible study this week.
• I choose to elevate others by praying for them by name this week.
