Sermon Notes
I. Christ Our Treasure
Philippians 3:7-8
But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ
Matthew 16:26
What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
If Our Righteousness Was Based on What We Brought to the Table, We Would Have Nothing to Bring.
II. Christ Our Trust
Philippians 3:9
and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith
Galatians 2:20
It is no longer l who live, but Christ lives in me and [the life] which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God.
III. Christ Our Transformation
Philippians 3:10-11
that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.
Knowing Christ Captivates Our Hearts, Becomes Our Confidence, & Transforms Our Lives.
