I. God Delivers Hope in the Middle of Uncertainty

Luke 24:1-4a

II. Are You Searching in the Right Place?

Luke 24:4b-5
“behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?

Romans 3:28
For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law

III. Remember What Jesus Did

Luke 24:6-7
He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.”

Celebrating the resurrection changes the trajectory of life

Luke 20:38
Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for all live to him.”

Next Steps

1. I put my trust in the resurrected Jesus as my King for the first time.
2. I commit to announce His life changing power to my friends and family.
3. I confess my focus has been on my circumstances rather than on Jesus.
