Landmarks

As we navigate our life’s journey, landmarks provide way-finding for us to be assured that we are on the right path. We understand this if we are driving through a town, but it is more important when we rely on landmarks in our faith to anchor us to truth and avoid the landmines and tripwires that culture may present.

Landmarks offers two tracks of workshops throughout the year to parents and every believer striving to engage with culture. Each workshop will be inspired by an established resource and led by a local facilitator. Review which sessions fit your schedule and mark your calendar.

There is no cost to attend, though you may choose to purchase recommended resources. If you have any questions or want more information, please visit calvaryga.com/contact-us/.

No. The workshops are all stand-alone. You do not have to attend previous workshops to attend a later one.

How to Keep an Open Dialogue with Your Kids About Harmful Content

August 17th (LifeGroup Hour in the Cafeteria) • Speaker: Ricky Smith
Rated R or X! How do we parent our kids and teenagers in a culture that’s confused about sexuality? If we don’t teach them the truth, they will absorb distorted views from the media that project a false sense of normal. Join us for a very honest and potentially uncomfortable Landmark class, where we’ll equip you to stay aware and alert, helping guide your kids and teens through temptation and the ‘pornification’ of culture. Together, we’ll explore how to maintain open communication and foster trust, providing you with the tools to help your children make wise choices that honor both themselves and God. Viewer and listener discretion are advised.

Leading Kids Struggling with Anxiety, Self-Image & Identity

Join us for a special parent seminar where we’ll explore biblical truth, practical tools, and faith-based strategies to help you guide your child with wisdom and hope. You’ll leave encouraged, equipped, and reminded that you are not alone in this journey.
