Mexico Mission Trip 2024 – Prayer Guide
We are on the go again! This time, we have a team going to Mexico to continue our partnership with Yugo Ministries. We are returning to Mexico and excited to see all the Lord will do in us and through us. We have met our family and are excited to come alongside them to show the love of Christ and care for them by building them a house. Yugo Ministries partners with local churches to serve families in underserved communities.
Churches going on missions encompass much more than just the team traveling to a new city. For a church to engage in missions appropriately, there is a team that goes, a group to send and support the goers, and a team that prays for the work being done. We all have a role and opportunity to engage in missions by being goers, senders, and prayers.
Our team is excited to be used by God on this mission trip, and we are thankful to Calvary Baptist church and its members for sending us out to build a home for a needy family. We are grateful to partner with a local church in Mexico in this endeavor. As Calvary sends us out, we ask you to pray for our team while we are away. I have created this prayer guide and encourage you to pray for us as we are on mission to Mexico.
Day 1 — Relationships that will be formed and strengthened by this experience

Day 2 — Our time and efforts at the worksites
- For safety
- For teamwork
- For us to be productive
- That we will complete the home by the end of the week
- For no injuries
Day 3 — Times of worship and Spiritual conversations
- For opportunities to witness to the family we will work with
- For our chapel services
- For God to encourage and speak to our team
- For the Holy Spirit to guide our words and actions
Day 4 — Pray for the health, safety, and travel of our team
- For the flights, crossing the border, and travel to and from the work site
- For the physical health of everyone
- For the spiritual health of the team
Day 5 — Pray for the members of the trip
- For each team member
- For our families back home
- That we will encounter God
- That our lives will be transformed
Day 6 — Global Partners
- Yugo Ministries, spiritual wisdom as they continue to lead
- Church we will partner with, loving service to the community they are in
Day 7 — Pray for the transition back home
- For the continued desire to engage with people we ministered to
- For opportunities to take lessons we learned there and apply them back home
- For more opportunities for people to go on mission
