Your donation to Hopegivers to help rebuild the girls dorm in Kota, India is underway. They have provided us with some photos to see the progress. Praise the Lord for all his doing in India.
Our Missions Partner
One of our ministry partners is Hopegivers. They reach out and care for the widows and the orphans, the untouchables. In India, they provide Hope Home to care for and educate the unloved, uncared for, untouchable children living on the streets. It is Hopegivers prayer to invest in 1,000,000 orphaned or abandoned children and send them out as arrows for Jesus.
Early in 2016, Lead Pastor Jeff Struecker and Youth Pastor Frank Bowden led a team on mission to India. They visited several orphanages along their journey. In Kota, India, they discovered that the girls dormitory is in much need of major repair. It is in such bad condition, the plan is to take the building to the ground and start new. It is the prayer and aim of Calvary to come along side Hopegivers and help support the rebuilding of the girls dormitory.
Our goal for the 2016 Christmas offering is $50,000. We are prayerfully asking the church to give a gift to King Jesus. The gift will go toward the building project of the girls dorm in Kota, India. We will contribute 100% of the money given through our ActsOne8 offering beginning now until January 8. Please pray about what you should give. We are told that the Lord loves a cheerful giver, and we are called to give out of our abundance.
