Prayer Week
We want to join with other Georgia Baptists in a week of Prayer Emphasis: August 3-9
2020 has brought great challenges and crises. In desperate times like these, God’s people are to cry out to Him for forgiveness, guidance, and hope.
Will you join the prayer movement?
The Prophet Joel said: “Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord” (Joel 1:14).
The week of August 3-9, Georgia Baptists will follow Joel’s command. We are calling this movement, “Pray Georgia.” Pastors from across Georgia have prepared devotionals and a prayer guide to help focus our prayers this week. In addition, we want to have a day of fasting on Friday, August 7th.
