Sharing Your Faith in an Age of Skepticism
[Be] ready at any time to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.
1 Peter 3:15
As followers of King Jesus, we are called to be prepared to offer a defense of the Gospel. We are expected to be men and women who can reasonably defend the faith against all manner of false teaching. The apostles and disciples in Acts are regularly seen standing before men, rulers, kings, and religious leaders telling of the hope they have in Jesus. This is apologetics. The defense of the faith with reason and rhetoric to share the hope of the Gospel.
