Thank You, Mark and Cyndi Helms
As many of you know, Mark and Cyndi will be leaving Calvary Baptist Church on March 1, 2015. They have accepted a position at Calvary Baptist Church in Eufaula, Alabama. We are thankful for their 16 years of honorable service to Calvary. Mark’s bother Matt serves as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Eufaula. Mark and Matt have wanted to serve together for many years and now was the perfect time. God has a great future in store for them and Calvary.
On March 1st we would like to present Mark and Cyndi with a love offering from the church. If you would like to contribute there are three ways to make that possible.
- You can mark on the designated line of the offering envelope that it is for Mark and Cyndi’s love offering.
- You can make a note on the memo line of your check that is for Mark and Cyndi.
- You can use one of the special love offering envelopes.
I hope that we will all give generously to show Mark how much we love him and are grateful for his time with us.
Our church will do a reception for Mark and Cyndi on March 1 from 8:30-11:00 a.m. in Hightower Hall. We will have light refreshments and a guest book for you to write a personal note to them. Please make plans to stop by during the Sunday School time and thank them for many years of service to Calvary.
Please be in prayer for Mark and Cyndi as they accept this new position. Also, be in prayer for our church as we look for a new Worship Pastor. During the interim, Dr. Ricky Smith will fill in until we find the next person.
