We are serving a Thanksgiving meal to our homeless friends in Columbus in partnership with M2540. We partner with a group of churches burdened to serve the homeless community. We have a few different opportunities to participate in this event:
- Donate to Acts 1:8
We are providing the funds to purchase the turkeys. If you cannot participate on Friday or Saturday, please consider donating funds to Acts1:8 to offset the cost of the turkeys.
- Volunteer on Friday
In preparation for serving the Thanksgiving meal, we need a group of volunteers to help carve the turkeys. We are looking for 8 volunteers to carve around 45 turkeys. Please bring your cutting boards, knives, and supplies to carve the turkeys.
- Volunteer on Saturday
We will serve a turkey dinner, give away clothes, hygiene products, and Bibles, and offer guests an opportunity to rest and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
We will have different shifts to serve at different stations/times throughout the day. Please sign up to help carry hope to our homeless friends.
Come out to the M2540 Building – 3406 Sixth Ave Columbus, GA 31904 and help serve our homeless community and share the love of Christ through serving a meal and meeting the needs of our community.
