Date: November 22nd, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the M2540 Building – 3406 Sixth Ave, Columbus, GA
We are serving a Thanksgiving meal to our homeless friends in Columbus in partnership with M2540. We partner with a group of churches burdened to serve the homeless community. We have a few different opportunities to participate in this event:
- Donate to Acts 1:8
We are providing the funds to purchase the turkeys. If you cannot participate on Friday or Saturday, please consider donating funds to Acts1:8 to offset the cost of the turkeys.
- Volunteer on Friday
Before the meal is served, we’re looking for 8 volunteers to help carve approximately 45 turkeys. It’s a fun and meaningful way to serve behind the scenes and be part of something special. Grab your cutting boards, carving knives, and a thankful heart, and come help us get the feast ready! Let’s prepare with love so others can be served with dignity.

Join us as we partner with M2540 to bless our homeless neighbors with a warm turkey dinner, access to clothing, hygiene kits, Bibles, and a place to rest and feel celebrated this Thanksgiving season.
There are multiple shifts and roles available throughout the day, whether you’re serving a plate, offering a smile, or helping someone find what they need, your time will make a real difference.
