How did we get the Bible in its current form?

In light of Deuteronomy 4:2, why were there books written after Deuteronomy?

Is there such a thing as “absolute truth”?  Explain your answer.

Pray that God would open our hearts to a stronger desire for God’s Word and that each of us would encourage one another in the reading, studying, and teaching of God’s Word.

2 Peter 1:20-21:

20 knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation.21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.

 

Hebrews 4:12:

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
