Led by Renee Hernandez in the Media Center
A 5-week study beginning August 23rd
Home. There’s nowhere quite like it. It’s a safe place, a place of belonging, the place we feel secure. And if we’re honest, at our core we all long for home. Our longing might be sprinkled with nostalgia or laced with pain, but regardless, we all feel the ache of homesickness in our hearts. God is a homemaker. He created the earth for us to live in, and He’s preparing a place for us to spend eternity with Him. Jesus came, died, and rose again so we could become part of His family—a family with the inheritance of eternity. In this study we’ll discover our holy yearning for a place to belong, how God provides that place for us, and how we can model His hospitality in our lives each day.

Led by Pastor Michael King in Room 305
An 18-week study beginning August 16th
Christians are people who have discovered that the one true object of our worship is the God who has revealed Himself in and through Jesus Christ. But what exactly is worship? What should we do when we meet together for “church” on Sundays? And how does that connect with what we do the rest of the week? Join us as we search the scriptures for answers to all these questions and more as we strive to fill our lives with Gospel Shaped Worship.
33 The Series: Volume 1 – A Man and His Design
Led byErnie Severe and Jerry Ramsey in Rooms 307, 308A & 309
A 6-week study beginning August 16th
A Man and His Design is a six session Bible study that builds upon many of the timeless truths taught by Robert Lewis in the original Men’s Fraternity curriculum and also includes new material on Authentic Manhood. Volume 1 contains six sessions that explore the basic foundations of authentic manhood and God’s clear design for men. This first volume of 33 starts with meaningful insights into the current state of manhood, which will help men navigate through some realities that have created cultural confusion. It follows by unfolding God’s mandates for all men and offering a clear definition of Authentic Manhood that will help men on their journey. Each participant will learn the four “faces” of manhood and how to anticipate and transition through the specific seasons of life.
