POSITION:  Executive Director of Calvary Ministries

FAMILY:  DonnaJune and Joe have been married since 1996 and have two children Daniel and Rebekah.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  DonnaJune has a BS in Paralegal Studies through Cumberland Law School of Samford University.  She has ten years of legal experience with law firms in Birmingham, Atlanta and Columbus.  During college, she served part-time as a secretary for two churches including Calvary Baptist Church.

While DonnaJune and Joe were living in New Jersey, she managed a branch office of AccuStaff  Temporary Staffing Agency where she was responsible for recruitment and placement of individuals in corporations and industries. She was also responsible for marketing new businesses in need of temporary staffing.

In 2003 after taking several years to enjoy being a stay-at-home mom, DonnaJune joined the support staff of Calvary Baptist Church as the Senior Pastor’s Assistant.   She served in this position for eleven years assisting the Senior Pastor followed by the Lead Pastor.   She also held, and continues to hold, the position of Clerk of Calvary Baptist Church as well as Corporate Secretary of all corporations under the Calvary Ministries umbrella.

In January 2015, DonnaJune accepted the position of Executive Director of Calvary Ministries.  This position was created for the purposes of taking responsibility of running the business side of Calvary Baptist Church as well as overseeing the management of Columbus Christian Counseling Center, Calvary Community, The Gardens at Calvary and The Green Houses at Calvary.   It is a goal that this position will allow our pastors more freedom and time to serve the church and community as their spiritual leaders.

FUN FACTS:  DonnaJune joined Calvary Baptist Church as a member in 1974 when her parents moved to Columbus and became Pastor of the church. She attended Calvary Christian School when it was still located in central Columbus.  It was at CCS where at the age of 14, she met her first love, but didn’t have the privilege to marry until age 28.
